Multi Award Winning, Ugandan born singer-songwriter Winnie Nwagi, joins forces with Wild Africa and OAS1SONE and over 100 African singer-songwriters in a historic first-ever a world tour series of Music for Wildlife Concerts, to lend their voices in support of wildlife conservation, raise awareness for climate change and plastics pollution, and have their messaging, voices, music and live performances broadcast across several Pan African and global television, radio and streaming platforms.

Winnie Nwagi was born on July 20th 1989 to Mr & Mrs Kabiito. Winnie always had a passion for music, as she started singing at school where she did music, dance and drama. Raised by a single father, Winnie dropped out of school and got kicked out of her Father’s home as a teenager and has since hustled between recording studios chasing her dream. After many years of uncertainty, luck struck when signed up for a talent search reality TV show where she emerged second runners-up. It’s from this competition that she was spotted and signed to Swangz Avenue a premier record label in Kampala.

Winnie has won numerous awards in just one year of her emergency including Song of the year and breakout artist. She is one of the most followed musicians on social media and most in demand artist not just in Uganda but emerging as well in the neighbouring countries. Winnie has also been an ambassador to a number of companies namely Crown Beverages Limited (Pepsi) for a promo campaign Completed 2016, Startimes and Sports Club Villa Jogoo Limited.
